In this section you will find mock and external exam timetables, our policies relating to exams and information for candidates from JCQ. JCQ is the Joint Council for Qualifications, the organisation that represents the eight largest national awarding bodies offering qualifications in the UK. These qualifications include GCSEs, A levels, Scottish Highers as well as vocational qualifications. Fairfax Academy has a dedicated Exams Officer who will help with any queries about exams. Exam Contingency Date - Wednesday 25th June 2025
What is an exam contingency date?
This is the day after the last examination for that qualification in each series, should there be exceptional circumstances that may require us to reschedule an examination.

Therefore we remind all candidates that they must remain available until Wednesday 25 June 2025 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
